Biderka privacy policy

Who we are

Biderka is an app developed and published by Technofuturenow LLC. For anything related to this policy or to your data, write to us at info@technofuturenow.com.

What is stored on your phone

Biderka stores the following on your own device:

• Your games in progress for each game (Faktore and Bide) and each difficulty.
• Your progress: unlocked difficulties, best scores, statistics and weekly challenge results.
• Whether you have completed or skipped each game's tutorial.
• Your preferences: language, light or dark theme, sound, vibration and animations.
• Whether you have unlocked Biderka Complete.
• How many games you have played, when you started playing and when the app last suggested rating it, so that it never asks too early or too often.

None of this is sent to any server, except as explained below under “Cloud backup”, and only if you switch it on. If you uninstall the app, it is deleted from your device.

Game updates

When it opens, Biderka checks whether there is a new version of the game (fixes and improvements that do not need to go through the store). That check is made to the servers of Expo, by 650 Industries, Inc., which provides this service on our behalf.

Only technical data is sent: the platform (Android or iOS), the app version and a random installation identifier that the app creates when it is installed. That identifier does not contain your name, your email or any phone or advertising identifier, and it does not let us know who you are. As with any internet connection, the server also sees the IP address the request comes from. This data is used only to deliver the right version of the game to you. See Expo's privacy policy.

In-app purchases

Biderka is free to download, and the tutorial and the first rounds of each game are free to play. The full game is unlocked with a one-time payment, Biderka Complete.

That payment is processed by Apple on the App Store and by Google on Google Play, depending on where you installed the game. To know whether you already own Biderka Complete (when the app opens, when you buy, or when you tap “Restore purchase”), the app asks your phone's store. We do not see, receive or store your card details or billing address. Each store handles that data under its own policy:

Ratings

If the app ever suggests rating it, it does so with the official App Store or Google Play window. Your rating is handled by the store; we receive no data about you through the app, and we do not know whether you have rated it.

Cloud backup (optional)

With Biderka Complete you can switch on a backup in Settings, to keep your progress when you change phones, even from Android to iPhone and the other way round. It is off by default: if you do not switch it on, nothing is sent. This is how it works:

• A code is the key. When you switch it on, the app generates a random 16-character code that is the only key to your backup. No account, no email and no password. To recover it on another phone, you type that code.
• What is stored under that code: your games in progress, your progress (unlocked difficulties, best scores, statistics, discovered relics and weekly challenges), finished games so that they do not come back, whether you have done the tutorial, the app version and the time of the last backup.
• What is not stored: your preferences, your purchase (the App Store and Google Play hold the truth about it), your name, your email or any phone or advertising identifier.
• Where: in Firebase, by Google, acting as data processor on our behalf. Backups are stored on its servers in the European Union (Madrid). To connect, the app opens an anonymous Firebase session, which carries no name or email; as with any connection, the server sees the IP address. Everything travels encrypted.
• Nobody can search for your backup: our servers are not allowed to list stored backups, and a backup only opens with its exact code. We cannot tell whose each one is either.
• What for: only to store your progress and give it back to you. It is not used for advertising or analytics, and it is not shared with anyone.
• For how long: while you keep it switched on. When you switch it off in Settings, the backup is deleted from the cloud at that moment; what is on your phone stays.
• If you lose the code, there is no way to recover the backup, and that is on purpose: if we could find yours, anyone could find someone else's. Keep it safe; the app lets you copy it or send it to yourself.

How to delete your Biderka data

• Your cloud backup, from the app: open Biderka, go to Settings, “Cloud backup”, tap “Turn off backup” and confirm with “Turn off and delete the backup”. The backup is deleted from our servers at that moment.
• Your cloud backup, without the phone: write to us at info@technofuturenow.com with the subject “Delete my Biderka backup” and your 16-character code. We delete it and confirm within one month at most. Without the code we cannot tell which backup is yours.
• What is on your phone: clear the app's data in your phone's settings, or uninstall it.

The whole backup is deleted: games, progress, finished games, tutorial, version and time of the last backup. We keep nothing of it afterwards, for no additional period. The anonymous Firebase session the app uses to connect stores no game data.

What Biderka does not do

• It shows no ads of any kind.
• It uses no advertising identifiers and does not track you across apps or websites.
• It does not ask you to create an account or give an email address.
• It has no chat, no profiles and no content published by other players.
• It does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or location.
• It does not send notifications.
• It does not sell or share information with third parties.

System backups

Android and iOS back up installed apps. If that feature is turned on on your phone, Biderka's data may be included in your personal Google or iCloud backup and restored when you change devices. That backup belongs to your account and is under your control; we have no access to it.

Children

Biderka is intended for people aged 13 and over. It is not designed for or directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under that age. The game does not ask for a name, an email or any data that identifies the player, a child included.

Your rights

The European General Data Protection Regulation gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection over your personal data.

In Biderka the game's data is on your phone, and you can delete it by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. If you have switched on the cloud backup, you can bring it to another phone and delete it yourself from Settings, without writing to us. Since we cannot tell whose each backup is, if you want us to do it (for example, because you no longer have the phone), write to us at info@technofuturenow.com with your code and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country.
